Standing Together Assisting Refugee Students (STARS) supports refugee children in the Houston area as well as internationally as they adjust to life in a new country, culture, and educational system, providing academic and social support through mentorship, tutoring, events, drives, and volunteer partnerships with other refugee organizations.
