The most significant activities of the Ethiopian Edir Mutual Assistance Association in New York Inc. EEMAA are the following: disbursing funds to members or their families for burial and related services in the event of death of a member or of a family member; providing moral support to the bereaved family; and strengthening the cultural and social ties of the community
